Extraction of impacted teeth.Impacted teeth are teeth that have no space where to erupt(most often it’s the third molars), and they form gingivitis and needs to be extracted. Uncomfortable feeling, opening the mouth harder than usual, difficulty when swallowing the food… are just a few symptoms of impacted teeth. They develop relatively late compared to other teeth. Their eruption is between 18-th and 25-th year. There are a lot of reasons for impacted teeth, and the most common are: deeply set tooth in the jaw bone, existence of excessive teeth, lack of space in the jaw bone, incorrect position of the impacted tooth. They are detected by anamnesis of all teeth and by an X-ray of all teeth (panoramix). The treatment of impacted teeth is surgical extraction.
