Frenulum resection: Most often at the young patients, and rarely at the elder patients, the frenulum can cause diastema between the first upper incisors at the upper jaw bone. In the lower jaw bone, the frenulum can cause difficulties on moving the tongue and difficulties on talking (speaking). Frenulum resection is a standard painless procedure on cutting the frenulum, with local anesthesia, without leaving any mark after healing.
