Fissure Sealing
Is a procedure performed on young patients, who have just had their permanent teeth. These teeth (the molars) have a linear fissures, which are the most suitable for the formation of dental caries. The process of fissure sealing is totally painless. At first, the tooth is isolated, then the fissures are coated with 37,5% phosphoric acid, which is rinsed after 20 seconds with water, and after that the sealer is inserted and illuminated.
This process takes no more than 5 minutes per tooth.
